Come out to this exclusive first class at Forged From Texas featuring ABS Mastersmith Josh Fisher. He will be guiding a group of students in this 2-day event from forging a hunting style knife in 5160 high carbon steel (upgrade will be available to damascus steel at an additional cost) then grinding it to completion. If you have wanted a custom knife for hunting, here is your chance to have it with the help of a Master! If you are looking to learn and get into making knives this is a great spot to start!

There will be a liability waiver to sign before class can begin. This is open to anyone 12 and older. Parent or legal guardian must be present for anyone under the age of 18 unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed upon. Lunch will be served both days and we will have a campfire after class on day 2 if you want to stick around for some fellowship and shop talk.

If you need to cancel your class purchase you will need to do this 10 business days before the class starts in order to receive a full refund.

We have to purchase several things based on class attendance prior to the start date including the instructor’s fee. If it’s after that 10 business days we will keep 20% of the course fee as a non-refundable deposit. I will, however make an exception if you can find a person to take your place or we have someone on the waiting list. If you have an emergency let us know as soon as you can and we discuss the exceptions.
