Carbon Fiber scales and sheets. This is older material acquired from defense contractors like Lockheed, Raytheon and Northrop Grumman. Has bark on one side and a thinner skin on the other. Shallow layers have a weave pattern and the rest is low layer alternating. Very cool material! I have sheets and scales available.

Scales are 5.25”×1.75”x0.200”
